Day 4 of #clearcocktailweek. "Hot Glass Pickle". A spicy and refreshing cocktail that's totally not appropriate for January. • 3 oz cucumber vodka from @hansonorganicvodka • 1 oz 10% malic acid solution • 1 oz 10% ascorbic acid solution • 1 oz HM serrano chili syrup* *I make my serrano syrup with 2# of serranos. I dehydrate them for 24 hours. I add 4# of sugar to 2 L of water, simmer it until it turns clear, then add the chilis for 30 minutes. Then I let it sit for 30 more minutes, then strain it out.
Stir. Strain. Enjoy. Try not to think of the hot glass pickle your mom keeps in her sock drawer.
