One of the best things I learned in one of my drawing classes in college that I still do today was to measure, measure, measure. So like here, I drew the nose and measured everything off of that. Which is what I always normally do. Not sure if everyone draws this way? And I almost always draw the eyes too far above the nose and have to go back and re measure and fix them. Creature of habit it guess. I have drawn hundreds of pets and can tell you for sure that the more you do it, the better you get. And practice makes perfect. And all those cliches that really are true. So if you’re thinking of learning to draw, or do anything really, just do it! Take a class, watch you tube videos. Whatever works for you. And practice a little every day. The first step is always the hardest to take.
I took a first step today and ordered an art business course that I’ve been eyeing for a while from @emily_jeffords . Business and marketing isn’t my strong suite so I’m really excited to learn and grow in that area! Cheers to your first step! Whatever it might be❣️ About to paint @parkerdood_ so stay tuned!
