🎉 I GOT MY FIRST CLIMB UP OUTSIDE 🎉 August of 2019, I told myself that I would get my first climb up outside in 30 days through daily training. I could barely hang onto a concrete wall.
30 days turned into 6 MONTHS. Turns out, daily climb ups is awful for your elbow tendons! I took my foot off the gas a bit, scaled back my volume, and gave my body (and hand skin) a much needed breather.
Through consistent practice, insightful coaching from @tomjumps, and coming up with my own weird climb up drills (“Doctors and parkour coaches HATE her”), I was finally able to get my first messy climb up outside. Now it’s time to make it consistent and clean.
Thanks @tomjumps for always coaching me when I asked, even when I was frustrated. ❤️ Watch until the end for a cute hug. 🥰
